Internationalization: Multiple Language Support

This article will review how to change the platform language within . This feature enhances usability and provides a better overall experience for users who speak languages other than English.

Changing the Platform Language Account-Wide:

  • Navigate to Settings > Business Profile. 
  • On the right side, under the Business Physical Address, select the language for the Platform Language field. 
  • Click Update.

Changing the Platform Language for a User:

Users can choose their preferred language from a comprehensive list of available languages.

Note: The language selected under My Profile will take a preference over the language selected under the Business Profile.

Changing the Language for Client Portal Web and Mobile:

For Web:
Go to Manage Your Account -> Language Settings -> Choose Language -> Click Save

For Mobile App:
Tap on Profile in the Bottom Bar -> Settings -> Language Settings -> Select Language -> Click Save

Question: How do I change the platform language for my entire account? Answer: Navigate to Settings > Business Profile. Under the Business Physical Address section, select your desired language from the Platform Language field and click Update.

Question: How can individual users change their language settings? Answer: Users can select their preferred language by going to Settings > My Profile > My Personal Data and choosing a language under the Platform Language section.

Question: Will the language settings for individual users override the account-wide language setting? Answer: Yes, the language selected under My Profile will take precedence over the language set at the Business Profile level.

Question: Which areas of support language translation? Answer: Language translation is available in the Template Library, Side Menu Bar, Membership Builder, Dashboard, Blogs, Workflows, Email Service, Opportunities, Review Widget, Calendars, Payments/Invoices, Funnels, Website, Social Planner, Email Builder, Domains, Affiliate Manager, Call Reporting, Attribution Report, URL Redirects, Reputation Management, Ad Reporting, Agent Reporting, ContentAI-related areas, Chat Widget (With all Three Types: SMS/Email, Live Chat, WhatsApp), Contacts Tab (Smartlists, Tasks, Bulk Actions, Company, Restore, Manage Smartlist)

Question: How can I change the language for the client portal on web and mobile? Answer: For Web: Go to Manage Your Account → Language Settings → Choose Language → Click Save.
For Mobile: Tap Profile in the Bottom Bar → Settings → Language Settings → Select Language → Click Save.

Question: Does changing the language on the mobile app affect my web account settings? Answer: No. For the Client Portal, language settings are managed separately for each platform. On the web, you navigate to “Manage Your Account,” while on the mobile app, you must update the language within the “Profile” settings on the bottom bar.

Question: I changed my language, but some buttons are still in English. Why? Answer: Sometimes your browser’s cache “remembers” the old language. Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in. If the issue persists, it may be a specific section of the platform that is still in the process of being translated.

Question: Does the platform offer different regional variations for the same language?

Answer: Yes. For certain languages, the platform provides regional options to ensure local accuracy. Specifically, you can choose between French (France) and French (Canada), as well as Portuguese (Portugal) and Portuguese (Brazil).
