Connecting Planning Center

MinistryFlow uses OAuth to securely connect to your Planning Center account. No passwords are stored — MinistryFlow only receives a token that allows it to read and write data on your behalf.

  • A Planning Center account with administrator access
  • A MinistryFlow account with your church already set up
  1. Open your MinistryFlow settings and navigate to the Integrations page.
  2. Under the Planning Center tab, click Connect.
  3. You will be redirected to Planning Center’s authorization page. Review the permissions MinistryFlow is requesting, then click Allow.
  4. Planning Center will redirect you back to MinistryFlow. You should see a green “Connected” status on the Planning Center card.

Once connected, MinistryFlow can:

  • Read your people, lists, and workflows from Planning Center
  • Create and update people in Planning Center when changes happen in MinistryFlow
  • Manage workflow cards on your behalf

No data is synced automatically just by connecting. You control what gets synced by enabling specific lists, mapping workflows, or configuring CalendarPay.

To disconnect Planning Center, go to the Integrations page and click Disconnect on the Planning Center card. This revokes MinistryFlow’s access to your Planning Center data. Any previously synced data in MinistryFlow will remain, but no further syncing will occur.
