How to Create and Edit Categories in Memberships
Within the Membership section, you can create categories of products from templates or use a DIY build-your-own option. Follow these quick steps to get started with creating and editing categories in the Membership Section.
Navigation and Creation
Section titled “Navigation and Creation”- Navigate to Memberships > Courses > From the dropdown select Products.
- Click “Create Product” or click into an existing one.

You can build your own by clicking Create New > Start from Scratch:
- From here, you can create a new Membership Product by giving:
- Details: Course Title and Description

- Upload Thumbnail

- Setting up the Pricing
- Ultimately, clicking “Create Course”

- Name your category and give it a description. Choose whether it’s published, drafted, or in drip mode. You can also add a thumbnail.


- Here you can add posts to the category. (You can also do this from the main page for the category).
- Click Save to confirm your changes.

- Repeat this process for any additional categories you wish to add.\

- Audio thumbnails will be taken from the Lesson thumbnails.

Answer: In the course builder, simply upload your desired audio file in the lesson section. Audio thumbnails will automatically be pulled from the lesson’s image.

Answer: You can add posts in the desired order when setting up the category, and adjust their sequence later from the category page if needed.
Question: Can I change the order of my categories after I’ve created them? Answer: Yes. In the product editor, you can click and drag categories to reorder them. This will change the sequence in which your students see the modules in their sidebar or dashboard.
Question: Can I see separate analytics for each account even if I posted to them as a group?
Answer: Absolutely. Even though you published the content as a single action, the Social Planner tracks statistics (likes, shares, comments) individually for each profile so you can accurately measure performance per platform.
Question: Can I move a lesson from one category to another?
Answer: Yes. In the product editor, you can easily drag and drop individual posts (lessons) between different categories to reorganize your syllabus as your course evolves.
