How To Clone and Share Funnels

Instead of building a funnel from scratch every time, cloning allows you to duplicate an existing funnel or website and make quick adjustments as needed. You can clone specific steps within a funnel, such as an order form or landing page, and add it to another funnel. This feature is ideal for businesses that frequently reuse templates, create similar campaigns, or share their work with team members or clients.

Follow these steps to clone and share a funnel or website efficiently:

  • Navigate to Sites on the left > Funnesl or Websites at the top.
  • Click the three dots next to the funnel or website name.
  • From the dropdown menu, select “Clone.”

  • Enter a name for your cloned funnel or website to distinguish it from the original.
  • Confirm the location or account where you want the cloned funnel to be saved.

  • Click confirm to complete the process. Your newly cloned funnel or website will now appear on your list and be ready for further customization.

1. Navigate to the funnel containing the step you want to clone, and click the “Clone Funnel Step” button located at the bottom right.

2. “Clone Step in this Funnel” will clone the step in the funnel you are currently on, while “Add step to selected Funnel” will clone and send the cloned step to the location and funnel you specify.

  1. Cross-Campaign Consistency: Businesses can replicate high-performing funnels for different clients or projects, ensuring that successful strategies are applied across the board.
  2. Streamlined A/B Testing: Quickly clone and modify funnels to test different variations of your campaigns while keeping the original funnel intact.

Question: Can I clone only specific pages or steps in a funnel?

Answer: Yes, you can clone individual steps or pages and add them to other funnels or websites.

Question: Is there a limit to the number of times I can clone a funnel? Answer: No, you can clone funnels as many times as needed, with the ability to share them across multiple locations.

Question: Can I clone a funnel into a different account?

Answer: Yes, you can share and clone funnels across different accounts or locations, enabling easy collaboration and resource sharing.

Question: Do cloned funnels include all settings and integrations?

Answer: Yes, cloned funnels retain all the original settings, automations, and integrations, ensuring a seamless transition.

Question: Can I edit a cloned funnel after it’s created? Answer:  Absolutely! The cloned funnel is fully customizable, allowing you to make any adjustments or modifications.

Question: Are there any restrictions on what type of funnels or pages can be cloned? Answer: Generally, all funnels and pages can be cloned. Certain specialized elements may require review, but most standard steps, forms, and pages are fully cloneable.

Question: If I edit the original funnel later, will the cloned version update too?

Answer: No. Once a funnel is cloned, it becomes a completely independent copy. Changes made to the original will not reflect in the clone, and vice versa.

Question: What happens to the domain attached to the funnel?

Answer: The domain is not cloned. Every funnel or website must have a unique URL. The cloned version will be created without a domain attached, and you will need to go to the Settings tab of the new funnel to select which domain or subdomain you want it to live on.
